You do not have to speak English perfectly, just speaking pre-intermediate English (A2) is fine. You will improve your English skills further during your studies at this preparatory course and will be able to speak C1 level upon successful graduation in June.

Due to strict admission requirements of the Corvinus University, applicants have to be quite good in mathematics and have (secondary) grammar school (also called high school in the USA) grades with good or excellent results (at least 70%).
This programme aims to prepare foreign students who want to study in Corvinus University in one of the following bachelor (undergraduate) programs:
-BA in Business and Management;
-BA in International Business;
-BA in Applied Economics.

After application students take Maths and English tests online, then they are interviewed via internet so that we can check their level before arrival. At the same time they are encouraged to keep on improving their skills. After arriving in Hungary, in the first week of the academic year, students write placement tests in English (dictation, grammar tests, writing, reading and listening comprehension) and Mathematics. Finally, their speaking skills and general knowledge are also tested. Groups are set up based on the test- and interview results, however students’ personalities, group dynamics and other aspects are also considered.
