Entry qualification | Undergraduate (bachelor) diploma (or higher) The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Hungarian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Language requirements | English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 6+ or TOEFL 79+ Intermediate command of English is required. Please note that all applicants need to participate in an online admission interview. During this interview, you’ll need to prove your language skills and the admission committee will make their admission decision based on this. If you don’t reach the necessary language level, you won’t be granted admission even if you have a previously obtained language certificate. Applicants who do not meet the minimum language requirements have to start their studies with an English Language Preparatory Program. |

Other requirements | A relevant portfolio is required. When applying to art programs, please make sure that you upload the following materials to Google Drive (or other file storage and synchronization service) and send the link in a pdf file (you can copy and paste the link to word document and save it as pdf): Create a portfolio, which best represents your work: Printed portfolio does not have any technical requirements. Please include in the portfolio every relevant document with all essential information that you think are of great importance in your professional life (work done in and outside of organized training, professional achievements and art studies). Professional materials can be models, photographs of objects made, free hand and digital drawings, animations, etc. Please prefer quality to quantity during editing of your list of works (12-15 pieces of work are needed) Every written material should be sent in PDF format. - A short Letter of Motivation in which the applicant informs us about his/her educational background and the reasons of choosing to study Design Masterclass at our institution (1500 – 4000 words). - A narrative Curriculum Vitae in which the applicant shows us his/her educational background and highlights the most important events of his/her life. - Please include a Statement that verifies that all the materials included in the portfolio were created by you alone, and write a few words about the works in the portfolio. Every written material should be sent in PDF format. |

Overview
DESIGN MA
During your studies you are free to design furniture pieces, hand tools, vehicles, labor-saving devices or complex customer service systems. With the aid of your creativity you can imagine and work out objects and environments of the future, such as robots and digital technology-based tools and devices. You will get familiar with current trends in industrial and product design. In addition, you can improve your skills in handmade and computer-based 3D modelling, 3D printing and persuasive presentation techniques.
