Entry qualification | Undergraduate (bachelor) diploma (or higher) Relevant Bachelor degree is required. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. You can apply with scan copies of your documents, however you will present their originals to the university during enrollment (in mid-September or mid-February) and they (scan copies and originals) have to be the same documents. |

Other requirements | At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. If you don’t meet the admission requirements, you can have an additional preparatory semester (or year) program (pre-master). This bridging program is dedicated to those students who do not have required credits and courses from their former studies, therefore, they are unable to enroll the intended master’s program. The tuition fees of the pre-master program are as same as for the relevant bachelor’s program and any pre-master program starts in both semesters (in September and in February). |

Overview
Graduates of the MSc programme have significant knowledge in all major fields of chemistry including inorganic, organic, physical, biological, analytical, structural, theoretical and technical chemistry. They acquire advanced application skills in chemistry during laboratory courses with special emphasis on synthetic and structural chemistry and the application of the most common analytical techniques. Possessing broad knowledge in the use of chemical literature, they work successfully in both the chemical industry and chemical laboratories including research and development areas.

Basic natural sciences (6 credits)
including mathematics, physics, biology, geology, informatics
(further 25 credits are required from previous BSc studies)

physical chemistry (including radiochemistry, quantum theory and colloids) (11 credits)
analytical chemistry (including spectroscopies) (10 credits)
organic and biochemistry (10 credits)
industrial chemistry (6 credits)
Optional chemistry courses (35 credits)
a/ Synthetic specialization (30 credits)
The major subjects include synthetic methods, reaction mechanisms, separation techniques and spectroscopies
b/ Analytical chemistry specialization (30 credits)
The major subjects include chemometry, quality insurance, sampling, spectroscopies and environmental analysis
c/ Radiochemistry specialization (30 + 5 credits)
The major subjects include comprehensive radio and nuclear chemistry, nuclear medicine, radioanalysis.
d/ Without specialization
Advanced courses can be selected from all major fields of chemistry (e.g. organometallic chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, coordination chemistry, catalysis, theoretical physical chemistry, chemical kinetics, carbohydrates, pesticides, biocolloids, etc.)
